5/14/2003 March 16, 2001 · March 16, 2001 – Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Bronchoscopy performed by Dr. Ian Jacobs, Otolaryngologist, with assistance from Dr. Scott Adzick, Pediatric Surgeon. Sarah identified as needing much reconstructive surgery. Adenoids will need to be removed and scar tissue will need to be laser-removed. Reconstruction of the trachea to be done by sectioning a portion of cartilage from the rib and placing it in the trachea to provide support. Vocal chords appeared normal. |
